Feel good and look good - exercise releases chemicals into the body called endorphins that trigger a positive feeling in the body. In addition to feeling good, strength and conditioning training will give you a more toned, athletic look and can also contribute towards a more youthful appearance.  Increasing muscle mass also aids better posture and helps you stand taller which is helpful as we naturally lose height as we get older! 

Have more energy for life - reducing exercise impacts certain genes responsible for the health of mitochondria – the cellular power-house responsible for the release of energy the body can then use. Getting active will give you more energy. 

Better manage your weight - yes as we get older our body fat increases. It's all good news! Strength and conditioning training fires up your metabolism and helps burn fat. You would have to eat more to maintain your current weight.
